About the Opportunity

STARDUST GENERAL CONSULTING SERVICES LLC is building a nationwide network of qualified Court Interpreters to support federal, state, local, and administrative courts, government agencies, law firms, and other legal organizations throughout the United States.

We are seeking professional interpreters who can provide accurate, impartial, and confidential interpretation services during legal proceedings and related assignments. Opportunities may include courtroom hearings, depositions, attorney-client meetings, administrative hearings, immigration matters, arbitrations, mediations, and other legal proceedings.

Assignments may be performed remotely or onsite, depending on client requirements.

United States Residency & Work Authorization

Applicants must:

• Currently reside within the United States.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be available for remote and/or onsite assignments.
• Successfully complete any required client background screening.

Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will not be considered.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide consecutive, simultaneous, and sight interpretation.
• Interpret accurately without additions or omissions.
• Maintain impartiality and confidentiality.
• Interpret legal terminology accurately.
• Follow applicable court interpreter ethics and professional standards.
• Maintain a professional courtroom demeanor.
• Complete assignments and required documentation on time.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• Professional fluency in English and at least one additional language.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Reliable internet and computer for remote assignments.
• Ability to satisfy assignment-specific background requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference may be given to applicants with:

• State or Federal Court Interpreter Certification.
• National Center for State Courts (NCSC) Certification.
• Federal Court Interpreter Certification Examination (FCICE).
• Court, legal, or government interpreting experience.
• Immigration Court experience.
• Deposition, arbitration, or mediation experience.
• Public Trust or active U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Qualified interpreters may be considered for recurring assignments based on performance and availability.
