STARDUST GENERAL CONSULTING SERVICES LLC is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client seeking an experienced Bilingual Safety Professional I to support construction projects by promoting workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

This position is ideal for a safety professional who enjoys working closely with project managers, contractors, customers, and field personnel to help create a safe and productive work environment while supporting successful project execution.

Primary Responsibilities

As a Bilingual Safety Professional I, you will:

  • Support Construction Project Safety, Health, and Operational Risk Management (ORM) programs.
  • Develop and implement site-specific Accident Prevention Programs (APPs) and project safety plans.
  • Coordinate with customers, contractors, and project teams regarding safety initiatives and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) and assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Deliver Safety & Health training and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Monitor compliance with OSHA, DOT, EM 385-1-1, and other applicable safety regulations.
  • Assist with work permits, inspections, safety documentation, and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and SharePoint.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish.
  • One of the following:
    • High School Diploma with 6+ years of related safety experience.
    • Associate Degree with 4+ years of related safety experience.
    • Bachelor’s Degree with related safety experience.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, EM 385-1-1, Operational Risk Management (ORM), Safety Management Systems, and accident investigation techniques.
  • Experience conducting Safety & Health training.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Preference may be given to applicants with:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
  • OSHA 500 or OSHA 502 Trainer Certification.
  • Associate Safety Professional (ASP).
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
  • Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST).
  • Experience supporting electrical, construction, industrial, commercial, or federal projects.
  • Experience promoting and building a positive workplace safety culture.

 

Physical Requirements

This position may require:

  • Extended computer use.
  • Sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Reading technical documents and safety procedures.
  • Frequent verbal and written communication.
  • Applying sound judgment to safety and operational issues.
